Introducing myself

Hello my name is Patricia Llancao, I'm 19 years old, study Obstetrics in the University of Chile and I live in Santiago Centre. I'm very friendly and I don't like conflict.

I chose Obstetrics because I am interested in the care and control of the health both of the woman and of the future children who could manage to have and I want to contribute as future midwife to delivery of a better service of health in these areas.

The day of the earthquake the roof of my parent's room collapsed, I saw the images that provoked in me a strong impression. I question me many things in my life and m ade me see the world with other eyes. The lack of adequate health care in the most affected areas where urgent attention was required, reinforced my decision to become a midwife, because as midwife could have helped to improve the attention of many Medical Centers in need.
